My head covering drawer is a MESS! And I don't really know how to organize all the scarves, snoods, hats, kerchiefs, bandanas that I've accumulated and/or made. And believe it or not, I have fairly recently cleaned out and purged. I guess it comes with the territory of being a seamstress, and being able to whip out various and sundry head covering things at the--bwahahaha, pardon the pun---drop of a hat.
So, I'm thinking about one of those door hanger pocket "shoe" organizers. Would that help? It might be a start. Because I get so sick of hunting and having vast piles of scarves et. al. dripping, drooping, and draping themselves out of a drawer that won't shut all the way because it is too full.
How do you organize YOUR head covering wardrobe????? Got any tips for me?????

I use a hanger with the clips...like the ones you use to hang skirts or pants. I clip them in styles and colors and hang them in my closet.
Well, I don't have very many. Normally I keep my everyday one hanging in the bathroom and the other two in my drawer.
I don't organize my scarves very well at all! :) And it sounds like you organize them better than I do… but my mom it better at organizing them. She uses the hooks that they come on from the store, and that usually works out better than my method. :D
I just took the winter stuff out of my head scarf drawer and folded everything, and that helped A LOT!!!!
I have 4 drawers of scarves (!!!). I just keep them folded and organized as solid color, multi-color, enhancements and wide bands. For me the trick is remembering to put them away! LOL! Baseball caps live downstairs by the side door.
